| Environmental Risks Program |
|
Integral part of all programs that comprise the Infraero Environmental Policy, the Environmental Risk Management Program aims to prevent, mitigate and control the possible risks and potential contamination of man and the environment, caused by packing, transportation, handling and inappropriate use of products considered harmful. Actions such as the analysis of environmental risks at the inside airports show the scope of the theme that permeates several areas of the company. Besides a broad diagnosis of potentially harmful systems, the Risk Analysis brings recommendations on the elimination and mitigation of risks. The suggestions and eventual measures are tracked and recorded into a database of Infraero. Infraero has been monitoring the activities with a large potential risk. Among them are the activities of supply of aircraft systems that involve the handling of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fuel and hazardous materials storage, storm water drainage systems, workshops and cooling systems. Among the measures under way is the development of projects and installation of systems for separating oil and water in the drainage of runways and aprons, in the areas of supply of aircraft and vehicles and in places where maintenance of equipment is carried out. |
